bookings

  • When should I book makeup services for my wedding?

I always recommend booking your makeup artist and hair stylist as soon as possible! I know some vendors book weddings over a year in advance, so the sooner you can secure your date, the better.

  • How do I book with you?

The longer you wait to book, the quicker your date is snatched! I require a $300 deposit and signed contract. Once I receive those, that's it! You're on my calendar.

  • Do you have a minimum booking cost?

Nope! It can be just you or 12. I'm available for everyone.

  • I haven't confirmed the number of people wanting makeup, how should I book?

If you have people undecided, please leave them out of the headcount. I have a certain date that numbers can't be changed anymore. I don't want you to have to pay more than you actually need.

  • Do you take separate payments?

I only take payments from you. If your family or bridal party are helping pay for services, please have them pay you privately.

  • What if the number of people changes before the wedding day?

I allow headcount changes up until 1 week before the wedding day. After that all people are confirmed and I am preparing for that number.

trials

  • Do I have to do a trial?

You do not have to do a trial with me, but I always strongly encourage it! Doing a trial run allows us to plan out and create the perfect makeup look for your big day without feeling rushed. You will also be able to wear it throughout the day and make sure we don’t need to tweak anything for the wedding day. Doing a trial also allows me to meet and get to know you so we’re not complete strangers on the day of the wedding. I promise, it’ll make us both more comfortable!

  • Can I book a trial before committing?

Since trials do not hold dates, they are only provided for those who have booked.

  • How far out should I schedule my trial?

I usually suggest doing a trial 3 or 4 months before your wedding day, but it is completely up to you. You are always able to schedule your trial further or closer to your wedding date. If you are out of state/longer distance away, we can use your rehearsal dinner as your trial!

  • How long does a trial take?

Trials can take up to 2 hours. This gives us plenty of time for collaborating.

  • Is my trial a separate cost?

Your trial is included in the bridal cost. It's paid for, so I don't recommend skipping it.

  • Can anyone besides the bride book a trial?

Trials are available for anyone receiving services. They are the same price as your makeup application.

wedding day

  • What happens if you're unable to make it on the wedding day? (ex. sickness, accident)

I try my absolute best to find you a trusted replacement as soon as possible. If you have more concerns, we can discuss more.

  • Can we get ready at my venue's bridal suite?

Please reach out to your venue to see when they open their bridal suite! Some don’t open them until late morning/early afternoon which does not give hair and makeup enough time to complete services. I always recommend getting ready at an AirBnB, residence, or hotel suite if this is the case!

  • Do we need to bring any of our own products?

NO! You’re paying me your hard earned money, it’s only right that I provide everything needed to complete my job!

  • Do you provide touch ups before you leave?

Yes! I also provide touch up kits I leave with you.

  • What if my party needs to move locations?

I do prefer staying at one location, but if you are wanting to start makeup at one place and finish at another, I charge a $100 relocation fee depending on the distance between locations. Packing everything up, moving locations, and then unpacking again takes much more time than one may think, so just keep that in mind!

additional artist

  • Do you provide the additional artist?

Yes! I've worked with some really great artists who have helped me in the past.

  • When is the additional artist secured?

I secure an artist once we've discussed the costs of adding another artist and have your confirmation to secure one.

  • What fees apply to the additional artist?

All travel and lodging fees will apply to them! Even if we carpool - they are taking time to help assist me and spend the morning with us!

products i use

  • Do you offer airbrush makeup?

At this time, I exclusively use cream and liquid products that are formulated for longevity!

  • Do you offer individual lashes?

I provide both strip and individual depending on the desired look and the client’s eye shape. Lashes are included in the cost of all services.

  • I don't think I want lashes, will that lower the cost?

There is no cost adjustment if lashes are not desired (but trust me, you’ll want them later on!).

  • I have very sensitive skin/allergies to makeup. How does that work?

I have you fill out a questionnaire prior to our trial for this reason. Depending on how you answer, I make sure my kit is fully stocked to accommodate.

  • What makeup brands do you use?

I use a wide range of high-end brands including Nars, Laura Mercier, Natasha Denonoa, RCMA, Charlotte Tilbury, Make Up For Ever, Makeup By Mario and many more.
